Given my responsibilities here at work, I was recently informed that one of our guys is working through Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Along with that, he also has subsequently picked up severe depression. I was informed, because we were asked to be sensitive to this and for us to better understand why he misses work so much. He's missed quite a bit of work. So much- that some of his fellow techs have started grumbling and making inappropriate speculations about him (slacker, skater, lazy, gimpy, etc..).
With the knowledge that this guy is going through nightmares, depression, sleep deprivation, suppressed anger, fear, and many others, from his tour in Iraq where he saw his buddies get killed, I feel for him. I have always sensed his deep depression, but now it's making total sense. My heart goes out to him. I'm asking the Lord to provide an opportunity to relate to him and get to know him better. Also, that He provide opportunities to love on him through me relating to his emotional problems. A listening ear is all I'm asking right now, Lord. I am here, I am willing.
Bloggers/Readers: Please pray for Jacob Young. Pray for healing in his mind, body (battle wounds), and his emotions (where the real problems reside). Pray for an opportunity for me or someone else to help him through this time. Pray for Jacob to be willing to receive help.
Thanks,
Jason

Sounds like a good opportunity for you to implement the MMC principles.
