temple-paint project
next tues. i'll be getting some ink-work done. w/years of putting misguided stuff on my body, i've mapped out a temple project that will cover the old stuff. these new tatts will be colorful & will be positive. my heart in this is that i would like to honor God w/my body that has already been all marked-up, so why not re-paint w/something much nicer.
at this stage of the "cover project", my left arm is outlined & is ready to be filled-in. i will have jon mccann (absolute tattoo) do his art (he's very good btw). the outlining of this stage was cool, but i'm really looking forward to the colors (primarily reds, blues, browns, etc...).
the overall project will take about 3 yrs to cover what i have (all things considered). when all is said & done, my upper-arms (half-sleeves), shoulders, traps, & back will be painted w/colors & themes that hopefully bring glory to Jesus. i'll keep ya updated.
late,
jay

Hey, do you have a picture of the map?
Sounds like fun! Yes, I'd like to see a blueprint also.
i'll get some work done & start posting the progress.
cool. i'm too big of a sissy to get any tats. that and i can't hardly decide what to eat for lunch - i'm not sure i could come up with anything i would want permanently on my body
I think seeing a picture is a great idea.
Hey, so I was in a chatroom the other day, and we were having a convo about tattoos when some random guy butted in and started ranting about how tattoos are "grafitti on the temple of God" and that we would be judged heavily for that... Then he said that he thought he should bulldoze all of the tattoo parlors. When we pointed out that this would not be Godly behaviour, he got mad and left... It was pretty funny--I thought you'd appreciate it...
if anyone is interested or knows someone interested- the link, below, shares some thoughts on tattooing from a bilical perspective.

...so you're kind of taking the "this for a that, and a tit for a tat" approach?...
