have you ever noticed how much we repeat ourselves? the topics are varied & are important (obviously) to the one that repeats them over & over again.
to me this sort of thing is interesting. i tend to repeat myself like nobody's business (figure of speach). it's usually centered around a few topics that play in my mind like a broken record.
do you ever hear the same story or something similar from a certain person(s)? before i talk to certain people, i understand/predict that they're going to talk about "that thing" again. & they will tell the story like it's the very first time. sometimes i wonder what keeps certain people from remembering who they tell what story. you know, like a mental record that keep the info. of having already talked to a certain person about that thing.
as i complain to mindy about certain people talking about certain things (all the time/everytime), she kindly tells me that i do the same thing on certain topics. she challenged me w/the thought of throwing some variety into what i talk about. hmmm..... i guess i didn't realize that i only/usually talk about the same things all the time.
here are some of my own broken record-isms:
- people need to be open to healing
- the gas prices are going up again
- looks like we might get some weather
- cars always drift over into my lane
- etc........
what are some of yours?

I never do this, Jason.
Um... I really don't think I need to know mine because I'm sure you already know... ;)
My work is stressful, my work is stressful, and I also tend to touch on the fact my work is stressful.
I don't know how my wife puts up with it.
i have been a broken record about how tired or sick i am the last 2 weeks or so. when that's not the case, i tend to dwell on work way too much. it's the nature of first year at any job, though, in my experience. it should wear off soon.
