mr. yellow teeth & the nanna boat

so, i'm reading in my favorite chair & enjoying some coffee. if anyone ever needs to find nanna (almost 6), they can usually find her attached to me like velcro. she's either on my lap, sitting next to me, laying on me, holding my hand, holding onto my shirt, climbing on my back, hanging from my neck, or sitting on my shoulders.

nanna has a great imagination & can play w/my hand for 1-2 hours (i kid you not)! she touches my face a lot & tells me what to say (this is when she has created a character for me & i must play the part by saying the right words). so, sometimes this looks like: i'm reading, nanna grabs my face, she tells me that i'm so & so, & to say such & such, etc. if i don't say the lines the "right way", then she teaches me how to say the lines & the corresponding voice needed to make it right (boy, girl, mail man, etc..).

i have grown to expect & @ times not even notice nanna stuck to me or directing me in her imaginary plays. well, the other night while reading, she pulls my face close to her's (like normal) & tells me to smile. i asked her why, then she told me that i need to be more obedient. :-) i laughed & smiled @ her. she then directed me to smile wider, so she can look @ my teeth. she says, "you have yellow teeth. you need to brush your teeth more". i told her thanks & kept smiling. she proceeds to tell me, "i'm not kidding dad. your teeth are so yellow that they almost look green"! i'm like okay nanna that's enough, now you're startin' to get a bit rude to your daddy. "well, dad, i wouldn't have to be rude if you'd take care of your teeth properly"!

@ this time, i need a break from the nanna boat, needless to say. i told her in our code talk, "go hang-out somewhere else for a bit, daddy is taking a time-out".

i guess coffee & cigarettes have taken their toll. any ideas on the cheapest, best way to get some pearly whites?
