can't handle the comb-forward & swoosh

as previously posted, i've been workin' a "special" comb-over for a few weeks. it effectively covers about 2-3 inches of my head, but can easily stand up w/a little wind. it's like a flock of seagulls due, but my bangs come from the back of my head & stand-up like a rooster.

do you guys remember george jefferson? well, my "do" is starting to look very similar- bald in the front & all poofy around the sides & back. it reminds of bozo the clown. this "do" also doesn't address the balding spot on the back of my noggin. if i kept this comb-over project going, i'd have to start a comb-forward spot on the very back as well. so, i would have two comb-overs going on. or i would need to do the donald trump- 6 ft. of hair, wrapped numerous times around the noggin, then poofed up in the front. hmmmmm........

"Weezie, get me some hair clippers, so I can cut this shag carpet off my head"!

I must buzz the head & get back to my true "ROOTS"!

Thanks for keepin' it real, son. Just lay back in the cut and have your hair thinkin' to itself, "Yo, Why isn't he sweatin' us, fo real?"

'cause we are beautiful no matter what they say
Yes, words won't bring us down, oh no
We are beautiful in every single way
Yes, words can't bring us down
Don't you bring me down today

It's a two way street, Jay.

You gotta rub me the right way, honey"

well, i buzzed the "do", last night. i feel so much better. i can run faster & my beenie that i run w/on doesn't mess my hair up now. ;-)

davido- i think you may have misunderstood my aguilera comment. i wasn't commenting to you, but rather to "all" with regards to me/us/balding people are "beautiful", too. btw, how's your research going? oh, & another thing, i apologize for being harsh on one of diga's posts re: music. i don't always know how to read your sarcasm & i got frustrated. again, sorry for puffin' up like that.

There's no reason to apologize. I'm usually sarcastic (AKA insecure). I love to argue about things that are petty (by that, I mean things I can control). However, I think that some people take it personally when someone dislikes something they really love. When I say "that sucks," I don't mean, "you suck." If I think "you suck," I will say it.

Furthermore, I wouldn't bother talking to you if I didn't like you. I'm like an abusive parent that way ("I only yell at you because I love you! Why do you make me do it?")

It's almost impossible to offend me and I just don't make the time in my life for grudges. Please never worry or feel bad about someting you've said to me; life is too short.

As far as the Aguilera thing goes, I'm just having fun. I know that you weren't directing stuff at me. I do love the fact that you are the yin to my yang. I envision us as the devil and angel on the shoulders of some blogs. That may not be a good analogy; I think I would just like to wear red spandex and have the ability to appear and disappear in a poof of smoke.

Make it white spandex and you could be the next Freddie Mercury.

David said...

Are you saying I've got AIDS and buckteeth?

georgia said...

No....I wouldn't go that far! :) Just the thought of spandex and pyrotechnics made me think of Queen. And that made me think of white spandex and Freddie Mercury. But now, you could have gone for a more positive take on my comment: "Are you saying I've got lots of musical talent and a great voice?"

David said...

. . . and I'll die an early death as a result of AIDS but not before I could write the song "Bicycle."

Don't get me wrong, I like Queen. "Flash Gordon" wouldn't have been the same without them. I just can't believe the band who wrote "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Under Pressure" could have gone so far to the other end of the spectrum.

Hey, remember my tattoo idea... Maybe instead of tattooing hair, you should sell advertising space on your head to bring in a little extra cash... Maybe Walmart would be interested... (He he he)

Flash!!! aaaaahh. Their music was the best thing about that movie, although Adrian really liked it when he was a youngster, and I thought Timothy Dalton was kind of cute. Queen did have some real stinker songs, but Freddie's voice was always good.
