Got up at 6 this morning and was on the road at 6:30. The temperature was fairly nice and there was a light wind. The light wind felt great when it ran across my rather large, sweaty forehead. It felt great. I think I may have an advantage being blad up front, because those with it (hair) carry a wet mop around on their head when they start sweating. My head acts like a swamp cooler. Hope your not jealous, Dennis and Brent.
My legs and other muscles felt great and I didn't experience any discomfort. Other than a bit of traffic, it was a nice, quiet run with my MP3 player. I ran 10.6 miles in 1:58 hrs. and averaged 11:05 pr/mi. My lungs and quads felt it a bit, but it wasn't an overwhelming pace.
How are your runs going?

blad up front? :)
i am jealous. everytime i pay for a haircut, i buy shampoo or other hair care products, have to get up three minutes earlier to do my hair; anytime my hair acts as a shield to prevent my scalp from getting burned . . . i am jealous. hair sucks the big one.
running 3 tonight. i'll let you know how it goes
Good catch. No need to be jealous of my bladness, Georgia. ;>0
Brent- Looks like we were commenting around the same time. Anyway, why don't you try shaving your head- it'll make you look tough. Look forward to hearing how your run goes? Late.
you know, i actually read a study somewhere that indicated the coolest bloggers in the world tend to do a lot of commenting right around 9 a.m.
...having your blad up front, especially when running, tends to lend itself to a serious PRN incident...
