Make Peace & Act Okay

It's okay if he hits me. It's okay that he does drugs. It's okay that he spends all our money. It's okay that he yells at me. It's okay that his house is falling apart. It's okay that his children and wife are neglected. He only hits, because I make him mad. He's just particular, he likes things his way. It's okay that my opinion or ideas are not allowed to be spoken. He just has a bad temper. He only grabs my arm when I make him mad. He only threatens me, because I push his buttons. It's okay if I'm afraid to argue with him, because I don't need anything. I'm fine. My world revolves around him. He gets real mad when he drinks. I still buy his beer for him. Maybe if I try harder/love harder/act better- he'll be better.?. Everything is fine. Smile. Smile big. Keep him calm. Make peace. Act okay.

I've come to have an awareness of what many women go through in their relationships with their husbands or boyfriends. We've all had some experience in this area. Whether in our homes directly or seeing it in other homes- this needs closer attention. I have recently dedicated more concentrated prayer on women or anyone in hurtful relationships. Talk about feeling trapped and unable to talk about what's going on. Families that live in fear everyday of some sort of abuse are all around us.
Psalm 30:2
O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.
Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Thanks,
Jason
