13 cent glasses

as i mentioned in a previous post, i have been having some major eye-ball pain/strain. what do you expect when you look @ computer monitors & crypto displays for 9 hrs. a day? looks like my young age of 35 & profession have strengthened their relationship.

anyway, my vision insurance is pretty good. after all is said & done, i paid 13 cents for my glasses. i laughed when the lady told me & had to ask again if she was serious. i wasn't so much surprised about the deal as i was about her insistence on getting her 13 cents. thoughts of writing a check or giving her my bank card crossed my mind. i could have played, but i didn't.

i used to laugh @ my mom's/grandma's change purse/pouch thingy when i was a kid. i even have laughed to myself when watching mindy pull-out change from her pouch thingy. i don't why, but that's just too funny to me. anyway, as i'm processing how i'm going to react to miss glasses lady, mindy quickly/efficiently/common-sensely pays the 13 cents from her pouch thingy. i guess they (change pouches) do have a purpose. (my eyes are feeling much better) :>)
