click on the link: http://www.enewhope.org/spiritualgifts/ & take the test. many of you have already gone to this site, but i'm hoping to inform some people that haven't done it yet. taking the test doesn't make it the "definitive" on who you are & what you should be doing, but it sure does help when it comes to trying things & saying, "no", to others. the combo of gifts that are possible for each person seem endless. this is commonly referred to as, gift-mix. this could range from single digits to triple digits. the gifts that i like to pay most attention to are the ones that are about 9 & up. this way i can "focus" on exercising those gifts. anyway, my test results are below & notice how i got a big goose egg on "celibacy". duh! take the test & share your results.

Hmmmmm....did one of your scores drop a bit, Jeni??
We have all our small group leaders take this test...it can be thought provoking...after all, how many Christians in US think about martyrdom?
Where's condemnation on this list? Maybe my mind just works in a manner that says, "But what am I great at that I shouldn't be great at?"
Do you have the gift of condemnation, David? If so, I would characterize that as a variant expression of teaching, exhortation, and word of knowledge.
Thanks for looking at the possible positive side. However, I only condemn someone for superficial and or petty reasons and I try to do it in the midst of a group of people, so there really isn't a contstructive side to it. On the real list, I rank highest in leadership, giving, faith and teaching.
A good first step to moderating the gift of condemnation is at least realizing that you have it. :)
we seem to have quite a few people gifted in teaching @ hillside. do you think this would be indicative of the teaching gift our pastor louie has?
Perhaps Louie's teaching attracts others who value teaching.

I was surprised by the first one.
thanks, to all of you that partcipated.... i know the test has been around for a few years, but sometimes it's helpful to re-visit what we've learned. before ya know it, we can get off track doing a million different things & all Jesus is asking us to do- is to FOCUS on who we are & what He's asking us to do & NOT on busy-ing events that get us farther from him & our purpose.
