God puts people into our lives & i'm taking the time to appreciate one of great significance to me. she didn't have to be my friend or help me in a variety of areas, BUT she did! in this post, i'd like to express my gratitude to georgia, because i believe it's very important to let our friends know what they mean to us.
georgiame,
thank you for:
caring for me when i felt as a lost cause
praying for me consistently
pointing me to Jesus in all situations
being patient as i get frustrated & angry
always answering my questions & addressing my numerous issues
giving me practical ways to "re-wire"
giving me scriptures to meditate/memorize to speak over my life
recommending the right books @ exactly the right time
believing me when i speak of incidents from the past
helping me see "beyond" the past & putting it to rest
helping me see my bondage to "the performance trap"
helping me see that i knew grace in my head, but not in my soul/heart
helping me see that i feared & doubted that God is in control
and the list goes on.......
please know that you are greatly valued by me & that you have been greatly gifted.
you are my friend & i'm really happy about that!!!
