today is our 13th wedding anniversary! we've been together for 15 yrs. & it seems like yesterday that we met @ a 4th of july party. nobody could ever figure out how we ended up together. my friends wondered how i "got" mindy & mindy's friends wondered why she'd ever waste her time on a punk like me.
mindy & i are on different planets when it comes to self-expression & communication. many times we've had to clarify that we're even talking about the same thing. together we've parented 3 beautiful daughters, graduated college, served in the marine corps, & have stayed loyal to one another.
whenever we went to parties, my friends would look @ mindy, then @ me, & ask mindy how this happened. one of my friends always asked her how she picked me- every time he saw her. i finally had to shut him up, so he'd stop buggin' her. mindy's friends would ask her what she was doing w/ me & hardly ever spoke w/ me or even acknowledged me. we were a match made in heaven.
mindy has been loyal & loving through everything that has come our way. she loves me & her girls very much. we love her lots, too. ever since mindy & i started dating, we've been loyal & dedicated to each other. we've given it our all to better one another & love each other. it hasn't always been pretty & mindy has had to be patient w/ me.
i love you mindy w/ all my heart. thank you for everything!!! i look forward to all the years ahead & thank God for you & the girls. thanks for blessing me w/ your unconditional love. words don't adequately express my gratitude & love. words still don't define how we came together or how we've made it this far. but this i know, God has blessed our marriage beyond belief. i am yours, mindy, til death do us part. i love you!!!

that's awesome, you share your anniversrary with my big sista jen's b-day. everytime on her b-day i will have to remember to give a shout-out to Jesus for your marriage.
thanks guys for the kind words. last night we had our favorite meal @ chili's, then went grocery shopping. i know, it sounds silly to go grocery shopping, but when you're in reno & you don't have the kids- it's great fun!
