Incessant talking & buzz
Here they come
Full of energy & questions
Looking my way they are
Tired from work, coming through the front door
A party has started w/in
Smells of hair de-tangler & sunscreen
Hopping their way to me w/ their momma & dog
An explosion of affection & love
Engulfing me with touches, words, & smells
Amazed & wondering if I deserve this
I become a human jungle gym
Three cottontails hanging from my body
& one sweet flower smiling patiently
Thanks, Lord, for my cottontails
You love me so much!

very cute jay. i liked it.
I second that! But that picture makes you look like one angry cottontail!
I love it when my kids greet me that way when I come home from work. Very gratifying! Nice poem.
girlz are sure different. its more like a headbangers ball when you come home to little boys.
You've got that right Den! After three daughters I still can't get used to the fact that Jadon leads with his head. His love language is to throw himself as hard as he can.
truly kids are such a blessing never to be taken for granted.
did i ever tell about my friends in CC that had 4 daughters??
my rabbit does look a bit angry. i'll have to change that. i remember something about your friends in cc w/ the four daughters. tell me more- i'm sure it's pretty funny. i'll leave the boy stuff up to y'all. there weren't enough hairbrushes to go around this morning, so i have the nanna asking where i put the hairbrush. do i look like i use a hairbrush?
