I had a great Christmas this year. One of my mostest favoritest is a a present I got from Kayla. About 3 years ago, me and my ladies went to Temecula Calvary Chapel to see Tree63 perform live. The BEST concert I've ever "experienced."
I never remember just letting myself totally go, like I did that day at the concert. I "danced", bounced, closed my eyes, and totally "felt" the music. Okay, so back to the point-- Kayla gave me a piece of paper that was signed by the band that she had put in a picture frame as a present to me. Sooooo very thoughtful and meant a lot to me.
I remember meeting them and watching how they spent individual time with my girls and made them feel loved/special. I'll never forget how the base player had a certain godliness that I could feel. I knew these guys loved the Lord very much.
On my run, today, a wave of gratitude came over me. For a great wife, great kids, great music, and most of all-- an awesome God. God is so good to us. Here's a song that Tree 63 sings. It make me get choked-up every time I hear it or sing it in my head (enjoy):
Look what You've done
Look what You've done for me
Your blood has set me free
Jesus my Lord look what You've done for me
I haven't been the same
Ever since that day I called Your name
YahwehYahweh
Look What You've done for me
What can I do for You my Lord?
I want You to know my heart is Yours
It's not a question of what You can do for me
But what can I do for You my Lord?
Up to Your cross I crawled
Now I am standing teen feet tall
Jesus my saviour look what You've done for me
Free at last I'm free
I owe You my life completely
Yahweh
Yahweh look what You've done for me
Thursday, January 4
Look what You've done!
